Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) proudly recognizes our employees’ incredible contributions to science during National Arab American Heritage Month, including Hassan Oudrari, Instrumentation Support Group Manager. 

Hassan shared his journey to SSAI and discussed his contributions to the development, testing, calibration, and validation of critical space sensors. He also discussed some of the most significant advancements in space instrument technology and how these innovations have transformed both Earth and space science research. 

At SSAI, we’re developing advanced satellite imaging systems and machine learning models to monitor agricultural conditions, helping predict food shortages before they become crises—empowering governments and aid organizations to act swiftly and save lives. By leveraging cloud-based solutions and cutting-edge calibration and validation techniques, we're ensuring the next generation of Earth observation instruments deliver precise, high-quality data that supports weather forecasting, disaster response, and monitoring to ultimately protect our planet and its people.
